Apuntes 78: Pensions Systems in Latin America

The articles in Apuntes 78 analyze various aspects of changes in contributory and non-contributory pension systems in Peru and Latin America. The objective is to examine the impacts of these systems on pensions and coverage, as well as on inequality, poverty, fiscal cost, labor markets, and savings, employing both simulations and projections. This issue includes a study on the relationship between old age and poverty in Latin America and studies based on the Argentine and Peruvian experiences.
