Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- Originality: The article must be original and not have been published or be under evaluation for publication in other journals.
- Format: The article must be submitted in Word format.
- Anonymization of authorship: The article document must omit any reference that allows the identification of the author and their academic affiliation.
- Letter to the editor-in-chief: The author's name and institutional affiliation must be indicated in a letter to the editor signed by the corresponding author. If the article has multiple authors, the lead author is responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions from the other authors and must indicate whether the article is the result of a research project funded by an institution.
- Article length: Articles must have a minimum length of 6,000 and a maximum of 8,000 words, including figures, tables and footnotes, excluding bibliography and abstract.
- Citations and references: Follow the style of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th edition. Include URLs for references whenever possible.
- Abstract: The article must be accompanied by an English abstract of no more than 300 words, specifying the main objectives, hypothesis or argument, and research results.
- Data and formulas: The data used in the research must be submitted in an Excel file for review. Formulas must be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript against the right margin. Long formulas should be placed in an appendix.
- Text format: Text size 12, Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment.
- Use of acronyms: Define the full term the first time it is used and use it consistently thereafter. Do not use acronyms in the title, abstract, subtitles, or context section.
- Language: The journal accepts manuscripts in English and Spanish.
- Publication Requirement: If the article is approved, the author(s) must complete and sign the Declaration of Authorship and Transfer of Rights before publication.
- Document settings: → Letter size document (21.59 x 27.94 cm) → 2.5 cm or 1 inch margins → Single column format → Do not exceed approximately 30 pages → Page numbers at the bottom
- Structure: The standard structure of introduction, data and methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, acknowledgments, references, and appendix is followed. Section headings are not numbered, and a maximum of three levels of headings are used.
- Tables and Figures: These must be numbered sequentially within the text with a title and source. They must also be submitted in a separate document in Excel or another editable format.
- First Page of the Manuscript: This should include: → Title of the article → An abstract of no more than 300 words → A list of 4 to 8 keywords separated by semicolons → Separate word counts for the abstract and the manuscript (excluding references)
- AI Use Statement: If you are using AI as a tool to accelerate data collection, develop methodology, categorize literature, edit text to improve language, or otherwise, authors are requested to include a separate document describing the use of AI.
Articles
Peer-reviewed articles. The articles in this section correspond to original manuscripts not previously published and not submitted simultaneously to another journal. The articles must be sent in editable Word format, without identification of the authors of the document in the text nor in the attributes of the file.
Book Reviews
Non-refereed book reviews. This section collects original reviews of management books.
