Currently logistics, supply and purchasing management have reached a leading role at a dynamic scenario of the international economy and an increasingly competitive environment. Selection and evaluation of suppliers have emerged as key factors in the effective and efficient achievement of the required products or services and as determinants of a competitive business management. In this regard, Cuba assumes the correct selection and evaluation of suppliers of companies as one of the aspects that need a main attention in the country, in order to contribute to greater rationality in the importing management and strengthening their purchasing power. This paper proposes a method for evaluating suppliers with the theory of fuzzy subsets, which contribute to achieve the above objectives.
