About the definition of a aleatory contract and its legal implications

Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to clarify the concept of "aleatory contract" within the framework of the Peruvian legal system, as well as to highlight some of its main legal consequences. To achieve this goal, it will emphasize certain relevant notions, such as the notion of risk and normal alea. The article also analyzes the scattered regulation of the Civil Code related to aleatory contracts.
