Abstract

In an arbitration process, efforts are made to obtain positive results, but the result, as an "award", does not guarantee immediate effects. Often, additional steps are required to materialize the results. Even if a party is victorious, enforcement of the award is not automatic, and it may be necessary to rely on a recognition and enforcement process. This article explores the challenges in such a process under Peruvian law and applicable treaties.

    La autora posee un Máster (LLM) en Arbitraje Internacional de la Universidad de Miami. Se destaca como experta en la resolución de conflictos en ámbitos de arbitrajes internacionales y domésticos. Ha desempeñado roles representativos en nombre del Estado Peruano, así como en representación de entidades tanto públicas como privadas. Su experiencia abarca diversos sectores, destacándose en cuestiones relacionadas con energía, concesiones y construcción.
