Abstract

Bearing in mind the importance that alternative financing mechanisms provided through digital platforms are currently acquiring as well as the benefits that are being generated for new entrepreneurships, it is important to review the main arguments that would justify a specific regulation of this type of financial services, as well as the current regulations that could be applied to this type of operations.
