Abstract

Currently, public investment funds cannot provide loans or directly acquire typical certificates of collection from co-financed infrastructure projects. Evidently, such a limitation, which is devoid of regulatory support, restricts the capacity of public investment funds to act as financers of infrastructure projects. In turn, the development of these projects is also restricted. Therefore, a change in the regulations applicable to such investment vehicles is necessary.
