The development of Private International Law in Peru

The development of Private International Law took special impulse with the strengthening of the Nation-State and the vindication of its sovereignty. The author reviews the evolution of Private International Law in Latin America and its codification in Peru and, after an analysis of Comparative Law, discusses the need for changes in the peruvian legal system.
