A few notes (and questions) on the new ICSID rules for mediating rules for mediating disputes between States and Investors

Abstract

The merit of this paper seeks to address a mechanism for the resolution of disputes between investors and the State, such as mediation. For this purpose, we will try to clarify -within the extension allowed by this article- certain issues that may be useful, such as what to understand by mediation, its use in investment disputes, and its operation under the current ICSID rules.
