This article emphasizes the relevance of an appropriate and time effective management of the lands for the development of infrastructure projects executed under the Public-Private Partnerships regime. For this purpose, the authors analyze the applicable legal framework and the legal and contractual mechanisms granted to the concessionaires to mitigate the impacts of the mismanagement of lands.
