Abstract

The article analyzes the main legal challenges associated with the use of synthetic data, focusing on personal data protection, the principle of truthfulness in advertising, and the use of such data to simulate advertising testing on “consumers” prior to the public launch of a campaign. The article analyzes its legal implications, as well as the emerging international regulatory approaches to this issue. It also discusses that mail advantages and potential drawbacks of its implementation.
