Contractual object and transfer of ownership

Abstract

In this article, Professor Marco Antonio Ortega analyses the legislator's intention when regulating the contractual object in the 1984 Civil Code. It also analyzes the opinions of the most outstanding national and international jurists in the area of civil law regarding to this topic. Finally, he concludes his article by stating a clear position on the relationship between the contractual object and the conventional transfer of real property, according to the rules of our Civil Code.
