Abstract

In the following paper, Emmanuel Gaillard develops widely the three principal visions in the international arbitration: the “monolocalista”, “Westfaliana” and transnational movements. Furthermore, the author explains their practical consequences and the 1958 New York Convention´s role in the recognition of the arbitration as a transnational justice system.
