Abstract

This paper seeks to address a relevant but little discussed topic in arbitration: costs. The common perception is that Arbitral Tribunals do not devote an important part of their analysis to the distribution and recoverability of arbitration costs, despite the fact that this decision is a fundamental part of the Award and an essential tool for rendering a fair decision.
