Abstract

Few years had some many contrasts and surprises in the recent economic history of Peru like 1979. Some of these contrasts are perceived differently according to the angle in which one is situated inside the Peruvian society and the way one suffers its effects. The surprises depend also of the ideas or expectations one has. All this leads us to make these brief reflections and to try a forecast for 1980 and the next decade.
