Agrarian problem: Alternative solutions, results of the First Congress of the National Agricultural Organization (Organización Nacional Agraria)

Abstract

The agrarian sector, one of the most important productive economic sectors of the country, is facing a series of obstacles, as a result of certain structural problems and the present economy crisis. Throughout this paper is stated the alarm of the agrarian producers, who attended the I Congress of the Agrarian National Office (ONA), about the difficulties they face. In like manner, some alternatives of solution are proposed here, consequence of surveys realised to the attendants of the debates carried out during the event and the analysis of such documents.
