The author analyzes the prospects the current outlook for the peruvian economy. At the moment, it is headed in the right direction, sticking to a development model based on reordering public spending and freetrade. However, Peru deals with an economic crisis that is decades old. As such, Peru's economic adjustments still call for a lot of self-sacrifice. Gradually, as the country restores order to its national and foreign accounts, it will be able to relax its economic policies.Downloads
