Apuntes 76: Adolescent Health and Public Policies

The central theme of this issue is adolescent health. The articles analyze government policies and risk behavior among adolescents from ethnographic and econometric perspectives. The former perspective is employed to study government interventions in urban and rural zones with the aim of improving sexual and reproductive health in Peru and Argentina. The latter is used to verify the importance of cognitive and non-cognitive abilities in risk behavior among adolescents in Peru. In addition, as usual, this issue includes articles on other subjects, including the modes of internationalization of two Argentina drug multinationals, and the regulatory framework for Brazilian multinationals (1951-1967).
